Choose between IPTV, YouTube TV and Hulu + Live TV for 2027 by matching the actual plan to your household: required programming, location, simultaneous screens, recording and total cost. Compare current offers on the same date. The best fit depends on the requirements you need answered, including whether a service can supply the programming where you watch.

Compare your viewing list, not catalogue totals

Write down the local stations, sports and shows that would decide the purchase. Use each service's official lineup tools or support to confirm the address and plan. Ask separately about rights and availability; a long list or a working player is not a substitute for either answer.

Our provider worksheet helps keep the same questions beside each offer. For country preparation, start with the USA guide and the relevant service's own location rules.

Compare concurrent screens and home rules

Offer checked in October 2026Screen/location question
YouTube TVIts official plan page includes three simultaneous streams; home/playback area rules affect viewing.
Hulu + Live TVIts official page describes two supported simultaneous devices, with a separate screens option; home-network rules apply.
8K TVOne connection is one concurrent screen; choose the required number and confirm location conditions.

Read the current YouTube TV plan details, YouTube TV location policy, Hulu Live TV offer and Hulu home-network guidance before choosing. Check each exact device rather than relying on a broad platform label.

Ask about recording and replay

YouTube TV's checked plan page includes unlimited cloud DVR storage and says recordings are kept for nine months. Verify the applicable current plan and content conditions. For another offer, confirm recording, replay, storage and retention separately. A player with a record button does not answer all those questions.

Calculate the complete current cost

Record the normal charge, promotion end, add-ons, separate app purchases and checkout currency. Use the actual offer pages rather than carrying a 2026 price into a 2027 promise. For 8K TV, compare the relevant duration and simultaneous screens on Pricing.

For a fair comparison, give every option the same household scenario: the same address, devices, simultaneous viewers and must-have programmes. Put normal recurring charges beside promotional charges and keep the dates visible. Then highlight any requirement still unconfirmed. This makes it easier to see whether a higher total includes something you need or whether a lower advertised amount leaves an essential extra outside the comparison.

Choose the next check before choosing the plan

8K TV's current trial lasts 24 hours without a card; preparation is by a person within four hours and there is no automatic renewal. Test the intended device and connection after resolving your programming questions. Use the 2027 planning guide to identify any essential requirement still waiting for an answer.
